Employers' interest in healthcare's link to productivity will increase as the US economy continues to shift from manufacturing to service industry, i.e. jobs that have much more granular measures of productivity and are more susceptible to lowering productivity due to various illnesses such as allergies, migraines, chronic pain, etc.
